President Goodluck Jonathan today unveiled the new N100 note at the presidential villa in Abuja.
The new note is described as “commemorative” – designed in honour of Nigeria’s 100 years of amalgamation.
Daily Post reports that the president along with Vice-president Namadi Sambo, Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele, unveiled the note during a weekly Federal Executive Council meeting.
Sources say the notes will be in circulation from December 20
